Cannot log on to interface (forgotten user name and/or password)

Last Updated: 8 years ago cannot log on, login, password, reset, reset admin login/password

If a password is forgotten, another administrator can change the credentials. If another administrator account is unavailable, you can manually reset the password.

  1. Stop your Cyfin or CyBlock service.
  2. Navigate to …\Wavecrest\Cyfin\wc\cf\db.
    – (For CyBlock: …\Wavecrest\CyBlock\wc\cyblock\db)
  3. Delete the file accessAccounts.xml¹.
  4. Restart the service.
  5. Log back into the interface using admin/password.
  6. Create new credentials.

¹ Note:  This will delete all access accounts.
